Professor Spyros Skouras

Spyros Skouras studied at Cambridge University (Trinity College), Universitat Pompeu Fabra, the European University Institute and was a lecturer at Cambridge University (Faculty of Economics & Politics και Gonville and Caius College), and research associate of the Santa Fe Institute and Imperial College (Dept of Mathematics) before being elected Assistant Professor at the Department of International and European Economic Studies in 2003 (tenured since 2007). His research has examined problems in finance, econometrics and computational economics. It has been published in scientific journals such as the Journal of Econometrics and the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control and has received prizes from the Society of Computational Economics and Panagora Asset Management. He has worked as a research consultant for the European Investment Bank, Prediction Company and Man Investments.
