H2020 Social Innovations in Marginalized Rural Areas (SIMRA) project meeting in Padova (June 12 – 14, 2018).

Social Innovation in Marginalised Rural Areas (SIMRA) is a project funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. SIMRA seeks to advance understanding of social innovation and innovative governance in agriculture, forestry and rural development, and how to boost them, particularly in marginalised rural areas across Europe, with a focus on the Mediterranean region (including non-EU) where there is limited evidence of outcomes and supporting conditions.

Achilleas Vassilopoulos participated in the H2020 Social Innovations in Marginalized Rural Areas (SIMRA – http://www.simra-h2020.eu/ )  project meeting in Padova (June 12 – 14, 2018), At the second day of the meeting, which took place in Delta de Po (San Basilio, Rovigo), he presented the Greek Case Study "A Box of Sea" that has been selected from a database of 166 case studies of social innovations.
