GLOBAQUA training course/workshop on Modelling for freshwater related ecosystem services (17-20 July 2017, Girona, Spain)
The GLOBAQUA training course/workshop on Modelling for freshwater related ecosystem services, will take place on 17th to 20th July 2017 at the Catalan Institute for Water Research (ICRA) in Girona (Spain).
The event will introduce the basic principles of modelling of freshwater-related ecosystem services and participants will be able to co-develop their own case-study modelling exercise with the help of the lecturers.
The mornings will be devoted to theory sessions; whereas the afternoons will be devoted to the implementation of the learned concepts into the individual case-studies. This stepwise approach will ensure that participants assimilate the basics of modelling of freshwater-related ecosystem services in coupled socio-environmental systems.
Deadline for registration is June 15th 2017. To register, please visit: http://www.globaqua-project.eu/en/event_registration/new/&pid=49. For more information on the event, see the attached file.
