Globaqua Programmes of Measures Integration Workshop, 12 - 13 of September 2017, Athens
The Globaqua Project (FP7) Programmes of Measures Integration Workshop took place on 12thand 13th of September, 2017, in Maroussi, Greece. The workshop was hosted by ATHENA Research and Innovation Center. Within the purposes of the project on managing the effects of multiple stressors on aquatic ecosystems under water scarcity, the workshop focii were the development of the joint stakeholder survey, as well as the coordination and integration of work within the project work packages with the aim to effectively produce recommendations for Programmes of Measures. The issues covered in the workshop addressed questions on how can partners make a coordinated effort towards the joint stakeholder survey and how can the joint stakeholder survey inform the development of Programmes of Measures recommendations. Participants included Ralph Ludwig (LMU), Phoebe Koundouri (ATHENA, AUEB, ICRE8, LSE), Ebun Akinsete (ATHENA, ICRE8), Stella Tsani (ATHENA, ICRE8, AUEB) Philippe Ker Rault (Wageningen Environmental Research), Alberto Pistocchi (JRC) and Nick Vouvoulis (Imperial College).
