- The BlueBRIDGE H2020 project January workshop “Understanding how ecosystems of e-infrastructures can boost Blue Growth" brought together over 50 stakeholders operating in the Blue Growth sector to discuss how e-infrastructures and innovative data management services can support Blue Growth. The workshop report is now available and includes a full section on how BlueBRIDGE is supporting stock assessment, the ecosystem approach to fisheries, aquafarms and the detection of aquaculture cages.
- The Barcelona 9th RDA plenary meeting is approaching. Arrive in Barcelona two days ahead to attend the FAIR data catalogue workshop (3 April 2017 @ 2pm CET). Representatives from BlueBRIDGE, EPOS, EUDAT, ICOS and Copernicus will be examining how much existing research data catalogues are FAIR-friendly.
- Interested in Fisheries Data Interoperability? Attend the RDA Working Group Meeting on the 6th of April @2 pm. Be sure to mark this event in your diary.
- BlueBRIDGE is building a Global Record of Stocks and Fisheries (GRSF). Last week the second BlueBRIDGE Technical Working Group meeting for the GRSF took place in Rome. Read the news
