Kristis Hassapis has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The George Washington University and a Master’s and a Phd in Economics from Boston College, USA.He has served, among others, as a member of the Council of the University of Cyprus (2004-10), Chairman of the Board of the University of Cyprus Radio Station (UCY-Voice) (2008-10), Member of KY.S.A.T.S?(Cyprus Council for the Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications) for Economics (2005-09), Vice Dean, School of Economics and Business Administration (2004-07), Member of the Board, Diogenis Business Incubator (2002-2007) and as a member of the University of Cyprus Senate (2001-02).
